This deceptively simple hood design snugs up close around the face and over the chin to protect all your vital spots. Yet it also opens up wide enough when worn down to provide good ventilation and is not so bulky that it gets in the way. This is a great top for layering under a shell in the coldest, nastiest weather, or use it as a versatile fleece outer layer for just kicking around.

Medium weight Polartec Wind Pro 200 fleece is 90% windproof (four times the wind resistance of regular fleece). It has a firm, sturdy feel, with a smooth micro fleece on both sides. Wind resistance is achieved with a very dense knit that still allows for good breathability. D.W.R. (Durable Water Repellent) Teflon finish forces water to bead up on the surface and speeds drying time. 100% Polyester.
