Melanzana's ever-popular Micro Grid fleece combined with our simple yet highly-functional hoodie design now for kid's too. The kid's hood can be worn up close around the face and over the chin to protect the face, but doesn't have the shock cord feature for safety reasons. It also opens up wide enough when worn down to provide good ventilation and is not so bulky that it gets in the way. We are now using flat-seams in the hood for better fit and comfort. This is a great top for a light-but-warm layer under a jacket, or as highly breathable outer layer. The thin and highly breathable Micro Grid fleece is the key to making this a very versatile layer that can be used for insulation in highly active, but cold, situations or as an exceptionally warm and cozy base layer in less active circumstances.

Lightweight Polartec Micro Grid fleece has a tight thermal-style grid of open channels that greatly enhances breathability. Breathable enough to work as a base layer, or wear over a wicking layer for hard active use. 100% Polyester.

Fairly close fit for easy layering and multi-sport versatility. Kid's sizing is done by age, xx-small 3-4 yrs, x-small 5-6 yrs, small 7-8 yrs, medium 9-10 years, large 11-12 yrs, and xlarge 13-14 yrs
